Needing six units i decided the eight pack was a good idea for spares as this product has received many reports of random lamp failure

Sure enough within one month two units went defective

One was very dim right out of the box while the second unit suffered a complete failure to light despite the battery being charged and battery holder contacts being cleandry

The poly looking lens material is nice and clear though time will tell if that will remain clear or cloud up from environmental elements

The twist lock tabs are rather weak so the lightest sideways impact could twist one of these off its base

Same goes for the lighted caps which twist onto the middle lamp sections except they engage in the opposite direction
