Pros
The 12-inch, 4-piece 4r combination square is very accurate. The blade locks down firmly but there is a very slight roughness as you slide the blade thru the head.
Everything works perfectly, no slop, precision made, nice case. Super value for a fairly decent combination square. I have a starett combo square my dad gave which is probably 70 years old and it was time to retire that heirloom.
It has a nicely machined cast iron head and satin stainless rule that is easy to read.
Cons
As they say, the 'cheapskate' ends up paying way more for his goods than a wise one. A square isn't worth a darn if it ain't square.
