    You can set it to zero to make adjustments however if i set it to zero so that it reads 90

    But after setting it for 90 degrees and then measuring a 30 degree angle on one of my blocks it will be off by about 0

    Overall it is a great protractor for the money but know that it is not perfect at least mine isnt

    The protractor appears to be off a bit spinning around full circle reads 358

    I cant go into further details but suffice it to say once a piece is aligned the way it should be i note the angles in my notebook

    Set the angle to something like 63° turn the power off readjust the arms then turn it back on
