That may be true but i also dont think its such a bad idea to be safe rather than sorry especially for such a low cost

I wasnt about to go out and spend 70 on an anti static mat when id likely only need to pull it out once every cpl of years or so

For the minimal cost of this thing it was an easy purchase just for the piece of mind

For 10 and how little i plan to actually use it though i cant imagine this will wear out anytime soon
