Pros & Cons
Pros
This is a better mousetrap than landfill-destined plastic bags. Parchment is very durable. After they have worn out, they can be cleaned and recycled.
Cons
The bags burn and food does stick. Will not ever use these again. Very disappointed in the product.
Highlights
Quality
If you want less waste and better quality these bags are worth the price especially because they are so durable
But cookign times should be less with the bag so check often to make sure
I put the whole turkey in the bag with the breast side up which i never do with a plastic one
Price
The price was just right for this product
Packaging/appearance
I did leave the thermometer it and had the cord come out of the bag
They are compostable if they cannot be cleaned enough to be recycled
I also followed my recipe that suggests putting 2 cups of the broth that i simmer over night into the bag

But if didn’t have a whole foods so near i’d buy on amazon regardless of price

Every time i’ve had to clean my oven because of the thick grease spatter that goes everywhere to say nothing about the cups of hot duck fat that’s rendered and has to be siphoned off midway

This will be my first duck in the new oven and while i want my dish to shine i don’t want it to christen my oven’s still pristine cavity
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
It needs to be in a deep roaster pan on a rack so the fat can come out not submerge the meat and be siphoned off lest an oven fire happen
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
So while i’ll bag i’ll cut holes in the bag’s underside to let excess fat drain out and lay the bag on the rack

Maybe a downside is that if your turkey has a popup timer you can’t see it
