When i first installed it the light was not the brightest when it came on

We are having trouble finding the right spot to mount it where it will get the right amount of sun to power it and not to close to a nearby tree that sets off the motion sensor

The only instructions tell you to switch modes and that there is an onoff switch on it but no directions as to where those are and i cant seem to find it

Only when it detects motion nearby does it click on with its yellowish glow
