Pros & Cons
Pros
This fits 5, 3. Hd's in 3, 5. There are competitors who sell 4-bay 3. It fits in the cases 3 5. If your rig has three 5. Hd's this thing supports 3. This fits *five* hot-swap 3.
Trays and levers seem to be very well made if a little delicate. It's not excessively heavy as i'd expected it to be. My only complaint is the little level it uses to eject the drive. Upgrade to the door hinges is substantial compared to earlier versi... Read More
Bought 2 of these for my media server. Best cage to maximize disk space on the twelve hundred. If you are swapping out both 3 1/2 drives, and 2 1/ 2 drives, this unit is perfect.
The 7200rpm drives maintain a 46c temp while my 5400rpm wd greens were getting 42c. This is in contrast to something like a node 304 that i'm moving from which can keep the drives at a chilly ~30c even at high loads.
Cons

Price
Overall this is well worth the price
My only real complaints concern the price flimsy hdd trays material and the fact that they did not account for the 5
Its made cheap but for the price thats what you get
Packaging/appearance
Was a tight fit and scraped the labels off trying to get it in
Before i got my fatcage today i was worried about airflow in this nanoxia case over the drives i would be putting inside the fatcage
I bought a quitter fan along with this hard drive enclosure but it is not the loudnes imho that is the problem
Competitiveness
Also use power cables that came with your psu i had accidently mixed in a thermaltake cable with my corsair psu
