They "sound" better (less crinkly than the others). They're very lightweight and breathable. These are a seamless pant that can get very hot if you have too many layers on underneath.

The waist sizing is off on the site but luckily they still fit. The inseam and hips are perfect, but the waist is slightly tight on my 27 waist. The waistband is pretty wide and comfy.

Pockets are vented, it helps prevent over heating and sweating. I will normally be using this with my slightly oversized rain jacket. I like the fact that the cuffs not only have zippers to make it easy to put on but also velcro straps.

I have been put through some * water and other chemicals, and have come out dry day in and day out. I wear them kayaking in cool weather they do keep me from getting wet.
