Pros

Icom icm88 vhf is very reliable and excellent performance vhf. Transmit range is good for a hand held radio. The programmable scan / dual scan is great for monitoring several channels. Set up is painless.

Packaging/appearance

Packaging was very good because you could tell they got banged around by upsusps during shipping

I highly recommend icom although it has a higher price tag you will definitely get what you pay for
