Filters are perfect replacement and very easy to install. Most newer homes now use pex. Water taste is great again. The above filters are great btw.

Cons

Is it possible to get a refund or exchange it since it's pretty much useless? Be really careful buying generic filters. Shame on amazon for allowing this to be sold on their site.

The filter fits the receptacle just fine, but the water tastes exactly the same as the tap. The design at the top is different and it cannot walk or latch into the refrigerator.

There is no savings in buying cheap if they fail early. Don’t waste your money. More wasted time.
