Pros
They feel so much better then the cheep ones you can buy. Lightening deal for $8 for three. Only drawback is the total number of paks in one order - 3.
Usually the ice pack is in a mesh zippered pocket in her lunch box. I keep the lunch box in the fridge over night and put one on top of the food deep to the zipper and one in any side space.
Cons
They don't naturally freeze flat. If you don't put something on top, they tend to freeze with a bulge in them. Within the first month of having them, the plastic tore on one of the pouches because of the little bulge.
