The only part that was confusing was the power cord

Bottom line if you look at the cord it is obvious which part plugs to the chair

There are three legs on the cord

The long end plugs to the power cord one leg plugs into the chair the short leg is left over and does not connect to anything

One of the wing pieces on the side of the chair didnt go on all the way shown in one of the pics which then made the back not be completely aligned

I have talked to customer service and we have negotiated a refund but i am going to keep the chair because i had no way to return them
