Another good technique if youre working on a larger piece is to get the basic shape created and let it cool completely until the plastic is totally white

It melts into a moldable material when it is hot but it shouldn’t burn your hands if you keep the temperatures to the instructions range

Don’t have the water boiling the material wont hold a shape and it will burn your hands

It is a lot harder to get precise edges or identifiable small shapes though to make something that looks good will require rough molding of the hot plastic followed by whittling it to shape

Of course heat alone works so i wouldnt recommend this for something that holds hot components but thats pretty much obvious

The only thing it wont stick to is my fingers and im not well versed in the ancient art of molten plastic pottery
