I ended up drilling some holes in the nut which let the techtack get more purchase and then making a oblong shape out of it which the pipe wrench could grab onto really w

My first attempts in wrapping the nut with techtack failed the techtack hardened firm but not firm enough to avoid slipping when i used a pipe wrench on it so the fact that i could easily remelt it was great
