Pros
It's not the cheapest cable but i expect it to last for a good few years. Good quality and being flat and white, pretty unobtrusive too. Met stated specification.
Flat cable means it is easy to bend around corners and hidden under carpet. It is thicker than a cat 6 or 7 flat cable, so if i want to run it under a carpet or through a door it is slightly more noticeable.
Rj45 ethernet cable is strong and well made. Metal-plated shielding and a good positive mate. The cable is coiled and held together via two metal cable ties. The rj45 ethernetconnector is well made with a gold shield.
The reason for cat 8 is because of it's high performance capability. This cable is a really high quality, works perfectly and is much thinner than a standard cat8 cable. I attribute this quality to its being a cat 8 cable.

Ive tried mesh and that was okay but did seem a little unreliable seemingly just dropping out for some unknown reason at the most inconvenient of times
