Pros
When used properly this tool works flawlessly. Every single one. Was packaged well. Will update upon usage & productivity.
Comes with a case that’s relatively sturdy. I have a $3500 dewalt tool but i use it sparingly because you have to have it calibrated after so many uses.
The main thing is to not crimp it too much. Clean the pipe so there arent burrs, crimp on a fitting in 20 seconds and you are done. Worked well on elbow, straight connectors, but not on ts.
It's a little thick so if you have one of those copper pro-press ts from home depot, good luck.
Cons
The dies on the gc are chrome plated and do not crimp properly. Seems to be a pretty to big design flaw since alot of residential plumbing uses 3/4in pipe. The joint does not look up the job, it looks over crimped and bent. Bought viega fittings and w... Read More

The tool is heavy duty and built well
This is a design flaw in the manufacture of the fittings not the tool
Do not rush take your time with every press making sure the pipe is all the way in the fitting and seated properly in the press
Price
Great value to have that ability if you are not a professional plumber
But for smallish jobs with room to work this crimper is a great value
Its probably worth the 100 dollars but not a professional tool
Crimp propress fittings for a fraction of the cost
Packaging/appearance
Looks promising idea is there mine may have been a repack based on how it arrived
Competitiveness
Much better alternative than shark bite and breaking out torches copper solder draining lines etc
Like most of the reviewers i will say that this is a viable alternative to an expensive power press tool in some cases

Two notes the manual needs a better english proof reader as it obviously was not written by someone who knows english

It takes a lot of strength to get a proper seal with this tool but it does crimp fittings the same as the battery ones

I used one of the propress fittings prepared the pipe followed the directions and the job took about 2 minutes

The only down side for this tool is it takes a minute or two to pump it up and crimp each joint
