I did put a shield on the front so now that protrudes slightly above the rim of the case

It is an attractive case but it took a fall from about 3 ft and the thin strip of wood just above the camera broke out

This leaves your screen exposed quite a bit which i was hoping for better protection that covered the entire phone not just the back for aesthetics
