    I think it would help someone get more familiar with a regular 3x3x3 cube if they practiced on this one first and understood it before moving up to something more complexi found it cool with regard to plane geometry 2d becomes 3d before it can be shifted again to 2d

    Seeing as it came directly from china makes it seem more exotic

    It’s not particularly challenging to solve because the 4 “edge” pieces are always in the correct location meaning only the 4 corners truly need to be solved
