Bought as part of a baby shower filler. Perfect present for the mum of probably a 10 month old upwards. Perfect gift for a new mummy excellent quality board book.
Our granddaughter absolutely loves this book and the daddy one of the series. Really sturdy book means the boy can chew and throw it and it's always fine.
Cute pictures and lovely wording. Lovely, gentle, heartwarming book. Large and colourful format.
Cons
The rhymes and illustrations in this book are poor. Compared to the i love my daddy book, it makes mom look like a loser. It's also massive and annoying to hold and turn page while baby is on lap.

My only slight concern would be that this and the daddy book confirm to gender stereotypes a little daddy works mummy doesnt mummy does the shopping and sings songs in the car daddy plays on swings and rough and tumble plus breaks the rules when mummys not at home

The theme of the book is good and the phrases are almost short enough that you can read a page before baby quickly flips to the next page
