I had bought a typical usb optical mouse from best buy they only had one type of wired mouse that was available to be bought separately from a computer and after several minutes of using it my hand hurt as it was too big

The only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is because the cord is way too short for my setup

If you do not like wireless because they lose connections this mouse does everything you need

I use the scroll less than most so cannot give exact feedback about scroll rate i can only say that it is a nice added feature

In the package the connection of the wire to the top of the mouse was bent and showed a small amount on fraying

This was a problem with the packaging of the mouse not amazons packagingthe cord was wound too tight to the back of the plastic bubble and caused stress at that point
