Being a cheapskate i opted to just use the rf cable that comes with the console but it looks a blurry mess and isnt up to par on a modern screen

It is missing out on stereo audio the rad2x etc have an aux input for stereo audio pass throw however

The only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars from me is the fact that the hdmi is part of the scaler so if it gets damaged you’ll have to buy a whole new unit instead of just a basic hdmi which are fairly cheap these days
