Looks great on my 4k tv - not muddy, blurry or washed out. There's also a slight screen shake; i dunno if it's a result of pairing this device with my scanline generator.
My original setup for n64 is the oem av cable that connects to an hdmi converter box. Worked great with my n64.
Cons
This adapter is so finicky. The product itself is faulty but i will be returning this.

I tried perfect dark as it is one of the most visual impressive games on the console and couldnt notice a difference in visual clarity

My understanding is that the snes and gamecube are capable of rgb output but the n64 is not which may explain the issue

There might be a slight difference in colorbrightness but its miniscule and you wont notice it when playing

Sure you could spend a lot more for something better but given how rarely i actually play the n64 anymore those options were not worth it to me
