Pros
This cooling vest makes all the difference. Works by soaing the vest, wring out the excess water a tad and it slowly evaporates while helping to cool. These vests work great just soak in a bathroom sink and wala.
The band he's been drumming with for over 30 years still gets together about once a year to do a reunion gig (usually in the summer) works really well. I sincerely wish they were easier to get everyone is always sold out.
It keeps you cool for about 1 hour in the low-humidity desert climate. Works best with a slight or big breeze. Works well for motorcycle rides in the hot florida weather.
Works best when dunked in ice water for a minute or two.

Be sure you buy the one with smaller diamonds sewn into the fabric

Size large was perfect over a tshirt
I ordered the xl which is what i normally wear in a tshirt and i find the vest to be true to size my chest measures 44
For the rest of the trip we kept them wet and stored in large ziplock bags so they would be ready to use at any time but we didnt need them

Once saturated this vest is a little heavy and hard to wring out so it will drip and you will get wet

I think it would help to run it through a rinsespin cycle in the washing machine to help with this issue but you wouldnt be able to do that if you werent near a washing machine

I am in az so even at night the temps can be in the 90s however humidity is pretty low
