Re-wetting every 4-5 hours keeps mine nicely cool. He likes it soaking wet, getting his back cooled down.

About every hour during the day he will remove it and pour water over it and hook it back up
It does keep your neck covered and if you position it correctly it will cover the tops of your ears

It evaporates quickly and the snapwring to recharge only works for a little while
