In the package this does not come with any cables or anything but you can use any standard micro usb charging port

File transfer i originally used a 3rd party software with an smb connection and i think the max throughput i had with copying files was something like 300kbps i recently tried using the hyperdrive android app and saw copy speeds of around 5000kbps

There is also a secret microusb port in the side that can function as another transfer mechanism from your phone or gopro i have found that the device does not read the exfat formatting standard on 64 gb microsd cards so i had to reformat it to fat32 with some special software

I love my iusb port because it adds wireless memory expansion connectivity to my iphone totally bypassing itunes

I dislike itunesand its great to be able to simply download ie back up photos via the iusb port app onto a memory card micro sd or a portable hard drives terabyte of space
