Pros

Calibrations is very easy to do with the knob on the hygroset meters. Used the boveda 1-step calibration kit to set them. I also get my calibrated laboratory reference room humidity meter re-calibrated to nist standards annually.

Cons

No way to calibrate it except with another hygrometer. It reads 39% rh when it should be over 50%. I have the dial turned as high as it will go and it is still off by more than 10% rh.

There is a 3 variance in the hygrometers due to manufacturing that must be accounted for as well

After going through many many many hygrometers i found this one to be the best

Once calibrated i compare the inexpensive hygrometers several times daily to the calibrated reference reference room humidity meter
