You can open it to drink with one hand just undo the metal clip and push the button and it pops open

It unrolled nicely and after opening the top air was let in and it popped open

I had it in the living room which was warm and as the ice melt it did start to sweat but nothing horrible and since its silicone it wasnt slippery and wiping with a paper towel fixed the problem

The flip bar is kinda annoying and can be difficult and so i leave that pushed down and its still held closed by the push button

After you push it the top is released and springs back a little and you can now suck pour or squeeze whatever fluids you desire into a cup bowl yourself
