It will get a bit too hot and might dry out the seeds and make them die if you leave it on 247 so please use timer and adjust the length at which you want it on to control the temperatures that way instead of relying on constant heat spreading out the active hours of heat is a a way to simulate the sun warming up the soil slowly in the morning some people also chose to still run it 247 but have a towel wrapped around it its completely unnecessary as it wastes electricity dont mute your heat with towels or invent ways to be wasteful plugging it up and running all the time might hurt your seedlings because of heat accumulation

Heat mats that arrived folded with air pockets prevented even distribution of heat and did not perform well
