Pros

This is over 3x the recommended lumens for starting seedlings. I live in a cool remote area where tomato plants aren't available.

Nothing flimsy about it. This is in my basement, which tends to the cold side. Since the room is cooler it is a non issue for me. Ordered 4 and will be ordering more in the future.

Had then on 10 hours straight each day and no flickering. Bulb changes are easy peasy.

Agrobrite fixtures are ahead of the competition for durability and functionality. Solid build and worked flawlessly. Can't speak for longevity, but very pleased with build quality.

Cons

The cord looks like it was dragged on a cement floor or such where the plastic is melted off and wires are exposed. After the first 12 hours under the light, over 50% of my seedlings start dying from the heat. Hydrofarms website has no contact page.

Shipping

So it can be damaged easier in shipping

I thought that maybe bulbs got damaged during shipping so i bought replacement bulbs

Packaging/appearance

Packaging was adequate to protect the product from shipping and handling abuse

The only bad thing i can say about it is the packaging isnt double boxed

I bought several of these agrobrite lamps when i moved my succulents indoors for the winter

This is a very sturdy greatlooking wellmade product
