Pros & Cons

Pros

Seem to be very durable, maybe a little on the brittle side as far as the plastic parts. Worked like a champ but doesn't interchange with those from other manufacturers of the same type plug.

Great little plug for my winch hookup on my trailer to the back of our suv. Used for quick disconnect on subwoofer in car. Used as a high amperage power connector, 65 watts.

Got some 6awg battery cables and placed these inline, crimping the terminals was quite easy. I would have liked some kind of rubber plug to put on the wire before attaching the terminal so that it could be pushed into the plug after inserting the term...  Read More

Cons

Housing appears to be abs not polycarbonate plastic. Product failure imho. These have a proprietary slot shape.

Low cost inferior china knockoff. Very underhanded seller.

The description and the photos are misleading. Were advertised for 2 gauge but didn't fit. Not compatible with anderson connectors.

Quality

Works well and has a good solid connection

I am impressed with the quality of these connectors

You will need a proper heavy crimping tool these are far too tough for vicegrips or a simple ball peening

Comes apart when needed stays together when wanted

Price

Great price and smooth connection and solid as well

Using this for a trolling motor disconnect 13 the price of the marketed stuff

I dont think adding 50 cents to the price for the addition of these parts would be unreasonable at all

You pay a fraction of the cost that an oem connector will cost

Shipping

The connectors arrived promptly complete and as described by the seller

Packaging/appearance

Nice materials good instructions and well packaged

Definitely overkill for my application snow plow 12v connection but when the stock design isnt enough go above and beyond to get the job done

On my bike the battery is buried underneath the seat some wiring and a screwed down plastic cover so jumping a dead battery was a bit of a hassle

The terminals it comes with are for 6 gauge wire

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

With the 8 gauge that i used there was a lot of compressing needed to make a solid and tight connection

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It would be even worse with 10 gauge wire

With a hydraulic terminal compression tool that is not a problem but properly sized terminals would make a better looking more secure connection

The other thing i would have liked is some kind of rubber plug to put on the wire before attaching the terminal so that it could be pushed into the plug after inserting the terminal to fill that gap and create a little water and dirt resistance

I dont think adding 50 cents to the price for the addition of these parts would be unreasonable at all
