I would recommend going bigger i tried using the hardware that it comes with and the size bit it say but it would not work

Installation was more than i bargained for but that was due to the thickness of the siding cement board not the numbers

Some holes ended up with the cheap anchors other holes have different anchors and some with none at all i gave up

Grab a piece of wood to shield the numbers as you will have to hammer them into place

My carpenter installed these numbers on my new house and he told me to have it installed flushed to the house to avoid spider webs which will definitely happen if floated we have a lot of spiders in southern ca

One of the spacers didnt fit over the screw so we had to go without one of the spacers and it doesnt look as clean and finished
