Pros & Cons
Pros
Angle of crate adjustable. Tighten it all up, but do not over-tighten.
This grate sits the logs higher and logs burn cleaner less ash. No burn out or rot. Logs stack well and the design allows the logs to burn over a long period of time.
Worth the money and the “customization”. It's 32 wide (i have a big fireplace) and it handles everything i load on it. This is the prettiest fireplace grate that i've ever seen!
Cons
Burned out in many areas and warping. Very disappointed in its durability.
Highlights
Quality
Great quality heavy and seems like it will last a very long time
I love the way it feeds the wood into the center so you dont have to keep fiddling with the fire
Seems like they are having issues with quality control
I wonder if im the only one that had this issue
Packaging/appearance
Use some sort of a straight edge to align the feet evenly i used a piece of the cardboard that came with the packaging
Competitiveness
Get the logs up high enough for an easier starting fire and it made our burning much more effecient
After reading other reveiws i thought we would try a self feeding grate
