Pros

Use firestarting gel (or >75% ethanol hand sanitizer in a pinch), spiraling from the center out. Also, lighter fluid works best. You just need the learn a little technique for adding the pellets so it doesn't * out the fire.

Would be great for camping trip. We like camping and a campfire, but wood fires are a nuisance. I own a pellet stove for home heating so it’s a great use for off season.

Cons

It is like they did not use high temp paint or coating. Every weld done the same way, it just appears to be the way they manufacture it.

Packaging/appearance

The flames that come out of the holes in the side make for awesome viewing at night

I know it is going to rust with use but it would have been nice to get it not rusting out of the box

I do need to get a fireproof mat to use it on the deck it did leave burnt grass under the firepit but otherwise it was awesome
