And yep the packaging from shipping is barely adequate and really surprised it wasnt broken as it was just two long boxes taped together and mine had a fold in the middle and nothing preventing it from bending

That being said i ordered two rods after reading the reviews because of the number of people citing guide breakage

I am glad i did as one rod came fine with only a small defect in one guide yet correctable the other rod was splintered and every single guide no exaggeration was bent or jacked up

I suspect the reason for all the damages is all you will get is a rod in an oversized box no packaging around it or anything

If it wasn’t for amazons return policy i wouldn’t buy as they break oftenupdate literally just got another new one today “this morning and i broke it on 20lb braid and a 6lb sheepshead they are great rods but almost too sensitive and not up to hold the recommended line usage

I think there great rods but something is going on as they shouldn’t break under stated pound usage
