Pros
This is a easy way to fix a sprinkler that would not shut off. They are a direct replacement for the orbit units. Priced ok too.
Cheapest way to get varied parts for repairing irrigation valves. This replaces a 14 year old valve of the same model. I'm sure a number of people might complain about the longevity of the valves.

New valve is perfect and was an easy switch with the old valve
Bought the unit and swapped the diaphragm and solenoid with the one in use to refurb
Replaced the top of the old valve with the new valve carefully took out the pieces inside it and put it in the body of the old valve

I avoid replacing the entire valve by transferring all of the removable parts from the new one to the old one still in the line ground

I had six orbit 1 valves in service and have had to replace the diaphams on several of them due to small amounts of debris getting embedded and causing water leakage
