Pros
This one has an 'ant mote' on top, which i haven't tried yet because i just now realized (after having my first feeding bombarded with ants) that i need to pour water in it. The ant moat at the top is a plus.
The birds are happy. It's still a very early summer the bees are plentiful. The hummies spent the first day just checking it out, buzzing me with chatter/critique.
It has a perching rail and it is easy to clean…except not in the dishwasher. An old toothbrush and warm water clean it just fine.

Cons
The jar and base are insufficient to adequately secure them. This increases the incidence of ants or other nectar loving critters. They chase the humming birds away.
The feeding areas are slits and colored red. The slits on the feeder were not favored by the hummingbirds.

That was always an issue for me the bees are plentiful here and they would swarm my feeders chasing away hummingbirds

Without any yellow on these feeders the bees never stop in for syrup

I had just about decided i wouldn’t put anymore hummingbird feeders out because the little bees kept getting in and blocking the feeding holes on all the hummingbird feeders i have tried
