It is definitely smarter to purchase a case to protect the phone rather than spend hundreds of dollars in apple to repair the cracked screen

Also the front of the case edges are slightly higher than the phone screen and should protect that well

Case seems protective but it shows fingerprints and smears on the backside and the side buttons are way too sensitive
