I highly recommend the investment; down the road it pays back. The customer service is excellent.
The best crock on the market for someone in search of zero plastic or shady materials. Like that it is ceramic and not glass adds to my decor makes it easy to display.

The crock is perfect and has no cracks. It allows the elastic band or string to stay in place. These are purely cosmetic issues that don't affect functionality.
Cons
Cracks and holes in the glaze all over the container surface. Found small crack inside and on bottom that was not glazed. They work fine at first but they do start cracking and leaking at some point.

It is so easy to use sturdy and ive been using my first one since 2019
The spout is stainless steel very sturdy
The spigot design is very high quality and i dont foresee this leaking any time soon
The lip is designed to attach a cloth cover with no effort
Price
Its minor enough where it doesnt bother me but at this price point i believe its worth noting

I have missed the return deadline on amazon by two days i got busy with a new college semester
I can’t wait for my scoby to arrive

Came intact and i have made 3 batches of delicious kombucha with it so far
Arrived in good shape quality good have my first batch of kombucha brewing
