Probably best you read the instructions as turning it off is a challenge it appears you have to have the slider on the front in a particular position to fix the laser before it will turn off

I had to put up a big mirror which had to fixings on the back that i dropped onto hooks and had to align perfectly and also a wooden batten with coat hook
