The right size for seniors like me who have gripping issues. I already have hand twist grinders and love them but got these for my husband who was complaining about it being too much work to use.

The device works by pressing a button on the top and presto, you have fresh cracked salt or pepper. These do a good job with grinding, although you do need to add batteries to them.

I'm very disappointed in this grinder set and do not recommend it for anyone wanting to use it on hard spices like peppercorns. The contents get lodged in between the blades that aren't powerful enough. And it comes out painfully slow.

Bought two sets, neither works right. Changed all four batteries to no avail. Returned the next day. Acts like the batteries are almost dead, even when they are brand new, and burns through them quickly.

These grinders are a disappointment. The product is inconsistent. Nothing redeemable about it.
