Since the rpi lacks analog io i suspect some of the sensors will require additional hardware to interface with the rpi

In less than an hour i had hooked up the breakout board really nice one by the way attached the laser pointer and the photodiode light sensor hooked my pi up via ethernet sshd into the pi via the connection and wrote a quick python script that would detect whenever the laser wasnt hitting the light sensor

There is a bit of code available to open the rpi3b serial port for communication with arduino see pages on raspberrypi

There is no manual or cd but you can download it in the web address that the provider will provide

You have to search internet for spec sheet on every sensor

That way if your not using the fan you arent left with the hole

If they had a sheet that told you which pins to hook the fan that would be nice but i just googled it and got the answer in 2 seconds
