A couple of important points i think this would be safe to use by most children it does not contain glue it does not contain activator or chemicals for the creation of slimes from scratch it is not a science or chemistry set

For younger children or those which find independent play or occupying themselves unsupervised they are going to need to time and attention of an adult otherwise the set is going to be mess city ruining the set and their surroundings in all likelihood

As said previously my granddaughter had so much fun with this she didnt even mind when the balls and larger additions refused to stay in her slime and consistently fell out on to the floor

There is reference to borax which i have ready in some articles should be avoided by children so be extra careful with younger children
