If you have the same problem heres the fix works for 3180cdw and some other brother printers press home press copy note where the asterisk is on pad to the right the light will go out later so you need to know where it is located press home open the toner lid screen should show “toner lid open” press and hold the asterisk it won’t be lit hold for about ten seconds the toner reset menu should come on – select the appropriate color and reset the counter
