Pros

It is a little fiddly to disconnect the plugs by hand, but it is possible without the specialized tool. Nice connector. They are durable plastic and when we found out how to use them worked very well for our needs.

Cons

The photos show what looks to be an actual mc4, what i received looks nothing like them. Poor quality. Never came with metal pieces.

These are good quality connectors and so far i have had no problems crimping the connectors and assembling solar cables

You need very strong hands to clamp to the wire with the crimp tool

I got a lot of connectors for the money and the shipping box had three sets all in there own packaging

Competitiveness

Easy to assemble and i already had a crimper for large molex contacts

We also had a problem with how they fit in one of the german crimpers

These were rengoy connectors that came in a renogy back

To be overkill safe i soldered them rather than using a crimper
