I got sick of spending a fortune on ink cartridges for my home printer and it stopped feeding the paper and jammed all the time an old hp btw and so i went searching and discovered that all the home printers are terrible as of 2018

Because the companies that make printers used to make a fortune selling ink and toner and then lost a major lawsuit in 2017 and now have to let 3rd party ink toner companies sell refills

So the accountants in all the companies decided that the only way to make up for lost profits was to have their printers made out of either cheaper parts or poor quality labor in some third world manufacturing site

The result is that even the low end business printers are terrible

Thus i bought a refurbished printer with the longest guarantee any of the sellers offered

I did look at the stats which is something you can do with these printers and mine has printed over 120k pieces of paper over its prior lifetime

Most of the printing in our production environment is short run and having someone stand there waiting is just wasted time
