Pros
The hose is very pliable so easy to * which will effect the water pressure immensely.
Reel comes with 15m of hose, but a full reel with a 30 meter hose. Only negative about this one is that 15m doesn't reach far in even in the modern house postage stamp size garden. Colour is grey which blends in very well.
Cons
Why they let they work experience boy loose on this dreadful unusable product is beyond belief. Must be a duff batch.
Reel is useless as no water gets through. Appalling product, appalling design. Leaks significant amounts of water at the hose connection behind the faceplate at the reel hub. The manual is not written in a easily comprehensible way.

Thought i would replace with the newer version
On fitting the hose to the reel inlet i didnt like the way the hose kinked even with the internal spring fitted

This product is of good quality and the price was fair
Packaging/appearance
It was fairly easy to assemble and fit but i did go onto the hozelock website and watch their how to video which really helped
Competitiveness
Straightforward to assemble and mount thanks to the helpful hozelock videos illustrating the process

The size of hose was adequate for our rear garden but should have purchased a longer one to reach the front

After a couple of attempts i managed to seal a leak where the main hose fits onto the reel

However after only 2 days using to water the garden it sprung another leak seems vulnerable to switching the water on and off which i thought was the same connection
