The plastic ones are ok but after a season or two in the sun the plastic does become brittlea and can break as you tighten it onto the tap
Did the job much better than the standard tap connector works best with the pro range of hose connectors but works with the standard range nice and robust great product
I have one metal connector that i have used for 34 years
