Highlights
Quality
Very pleased so far and the knurl-ing on the ring is nice.
Good quality and good price it fit my canon 24-70l 2.
Quality filter that is made in japan, rather than the newer hoya lenses that are made in the philippines.
Never had any issues with fitment with the lenses that i have used the filter on.
Price
Hoya makes good products at a good price - works well
Competitiveness
Superclear, little to no flare, i'm using it in a tokina macro 100 which is a very deep lens, allways using hood, no flares never so far.
Its a good filteri use it on my 35mm
I tested the filter with a 390nm uv flashlight and a 365nm flashlight.
Hard to beat hoya for the price.

Of course it just looks clear to the naked eye so it does not degrade visible light at all
