This book is full of helpful ideas and stepbystep methods for seeing a subject whether it be plant animal or human and how to translate what you are seeing to an image put down on paper

It is broken down into areas you need to learn with lots of detailed pen drawings to go along with the info

I have ordered just about every book that is listed on amazon related to beginning drawing and i have been very disappointed with a couple d the books

One was skimpy and did not do any stepbystep just expected you to figure it out by looking at the finished product

It is a way too common overlooked aspect for beginners

I like this book better than other journaling books ive purchased as she goes into more detail about shape measurement getting your trying to size etc
