Pros & Cons
Pros

What interests me is how people think about the case -- wrongly or rightly. This is a great deep dive on an obscure yet influential subculture. Circumstantial evidence is not proof of absence, but still.
Cons

Highlights
Quality
Readers not familiar with the case might read motor spirit first
Participation in “creative anachronisms” one that took place the same day as the murder with the hood
Competitiveness
There may be a vested interest in rejecting a solution in effect a disconfirmation bias
The zodiac is much stranger than you’ve been led to believe

Unlike other suspects from other books and theories kobeks left a long and deep trail of weird writings and want ads many of which can be credibly linked to zodiacs writings and knowledge base

For example zodiac refers to buttons in one of his communications

I did not know about the cultural status and use of buttons in the 1960s and 1970s particularly among attendees of sci fi and renaissance fairtype events

Jarett kobek is pretty sure he figured out who the zodiac was
